This community means the world to me, and my goal is to return to hosting curated literary pop-ups and book fairs this fall once I’m able to do so sustainably.

About Beyond the Covers Events
Beyond the Covers hosts curated literary-themed pop-ups and book fairs in Houston featuring indie authors, artists, bookish businesses, and creative vendors. Our events are designed to create community-centered experiences that are joyful, memorable, and mission-driven.
We thoughtfully curate each market to ensure variety, originality, and a high-quality guest experience, and we’re always excited to discover new makers, creatives, and storytellers.
Because originality is central to our mission, we ask all applicants to disclose if and how AI is used in their creative process (proofreading, brainstorming, product marketing, etc.). While AI tools may support parts of your workflow, work that relies primarily on AI-generated content may not be the best fit for our events.
