Apply to Participate in Beyond the Covers Events

Vendor & Author Opportunities

Beyond the Covers hosts curated literary-themed pop-ups and book fairs in Houston, featuring indie authors, artists, bookish businesses, and creative vendors. Our goal is to create community-centered experiences that are joyful, memorable, and mission-driven.

We thoughtfully select vendors to keep each event unique, high-quality, and engaging for guests, and we’re always on the lookout for new makers, creatives, and storytellers to join us.

🧾 How Vendor Applications Work

  • We accept applications on a per-event basis. Use the individual event links below to apply.
  • Each event includes a booth fee and a required donation to a designated nonprofit.
    • Booth fees vary by event and space type.
    • Donations are kept separate so vendors can write them off for tax purposes.
    • Vendors may be required to provide proof of donation within 7 days of the event.
  • We ask all vendors to help promote the event on their social media. This helps us ensure strong turnout and supports everyone involved.
    • You’ll receive graphics, hashtags, and other promo assets in advance.
  • Failure to provide proof of donation or participate in event promotion may result in removal from future events. We aim to build a collaborative, supportive vendor community.

🛠️ What to Expect

  • All vendors must provide their own setup (tables, chairs, tents, etc.).
  • Booths may be outdoors or indoors depending on the venue, check each event page for details.
  • Events may have limited electric access and space, and some offer Wi-Fi.
  • Spaces are limited and selection is curated to avoid overlap and ensure variety.
