What's On - Week of Jun 1

Happy Pride Month!
In a year where LGBTQ+ rights and bodies are under attack all around the nation, it feels like a great time to remember that Pride was born of protest.
While I fully plan to celebrate queer love, joy, and pride all month long - I also commit to speaking out and up. For more on this, including volunteer opportunities, legislative action resources, and recommended reading lists, check out my new blog Reading is Inherently Political
Now on to what you really came for, this week's bookish happenings in and around Houston!
