Well, folks, my attempted popup at Crystal Beach on May 23rd was a literal disaster:

Luckily - no books were harmed in the making of this film, although I did lose a few glass candles and one puzzle was scattered to the wind.

So, on May 30th I'm running it back with Beyond the Covers versus the Beach. This time I'm coming out swinging with some heavier table weights, new blind dates with a beach read, and a stronger SPF. 

This whole side quest did reiterate my desire to find and convert a trailer! If you'd like to help me write that next chapter, there are several ways to help!
