💝 Benefiting the Texas Freedom to Read Project
✨ About the Event
This year's Banned Books Week theme is "Let Books Be: Let Freedom Read" and we're celebrating Houston's bookish community with our nostalgia-fueled Scholastic-style book fair for grown ups.
We'll have a DJ spinning nostalgic tunes throughout the night, giveaways and brand activations, letter writing and petition signing stations, literary themed cocktail and mocktail specials, and more!
📐 Booth Options + Costs
All spaces require you to bring your own setup (table, chairs, tent, etc.). Wi-Fi is included for all vendors. Electricity is available only for select spaces, by request and first come, first served.
All vendors will be contributing a flat fee donation alongside to our non profit partner in addition to their upfront booth fee.
We have the following options available:
- Outdoor 4-6 Ft Table Space: $35 (Up Front Booth Fee: $25 + Donation to Non Profit Partner: $10)
- Indoor 4-6 Ft Table Space: $45 (Up Front Booth Fee: $35 + Donation to Non Profit Partner: $10)
- Outdoor Compact Canopy Setup (4 x 6 Space): $60 (Up Front Booth Fee: $40 + Donation to Non Profit Partner: $20)
- Outdoor Large Canopy Setup (10 x 10 Space): $75 (Up Front Booth Fee: $50 + Donation to Non Profit Partner: $25)
Additional Notes:
- If you cannot afford booth fees up front, I would still encourage you to apply - just drop me a line in the Notes field and I'm happy to work with you on options.
- Booth fees will be waived for any accepted non-profits.
- My portion of booth fees are collected up front to cover marketing and promotional costs. The donation portion is made directly to the non-profit after or at the event so that you can write it off for tax purposes. Proof of donation may be requested.
☔ Refund & Cancellation Policy
This is a rain or shine event. Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled entirely due to unsafe weather conditions.
I know unexpected things happen sometimes, so if you have to cancel - please let me know as soon as possible so I can try to find a replacement for you from our waitlist. If I am able to replace you, you will be refunded - otherwise, I will not be able to issue you a refund.
