The Book Fair for Adults is a Scholastic-inspired, nostalgia-driven bookish night out featuring local indie authors, bookstores, and vendors designed just for grown ups!

In addition to a fun night out, we also partner with a local nonprofit for each event and donate a portion of the night's proceeds (through donations, booth fees, and more) to those partners.

This October's event will be our third book fair, and with your help - we hope it will be our most fun night out yet!

Ambassadors are asked to

• Generate 3 - 5 original* content posts leading up to the event
• Engage with official event posts by like / share / comment
• To attend the event in person and post at least once from the event

I'll provide you with logos and other digital assets, post "prompts" to help you come up with posting ideas, content guidelines and scripts that you can use in your social media posts, and an exclusive channel in our Discord server where you can chat with and get to know the other Ambassadors before the event.

* Please Note: We ask that you not use Generative AI in creating your posts or captions. If you're struggling to create or come up with content, just reach out - we have a great network of human artists and writers who would love to help. Use of Gen AI in your posting will be grounds for removal from the Ambassador program.

Ambassadors will receive a swag bag full of goodies including a voucher that can be exchanged for a book from any of our authors during the event, a drink ticket that can be used for a free cocktail or mocktail during the event, and more!

Perks are only for selected Ambassadors and must be picked up in person by the Ambassador during the event.

Ambassadors must be able to join the event in person on October 9th, between 6 and 10 PM. Ambassadors must be 21 or over to be admitted to the event.

There is not! I'm interested in quality over quantity and will be deep diving your social media content before making a selection. I'm looking for folks with a history of posting engaging, original content about books, bookstores, or things to do in and around Houston!

Applications will close by September 16th and I'll be making my selections and introducing the Ambassadors by September 20th.

You will receive a decision from me even if you are not selected - I won't leave anyone hanging!

Decisions will be sent to your provided email from info@beyondthecovers.com. Communications will only come from that email.
